The Hair of The Dog

Abby and Julian’s love was a journey. Upon entering a dive bar in Manhattan, The Hair of The Dog, they instantly caught each other’s eye. While there was an early spark and they felt like they were truly perfect for each other, Abby and Julian chose to take time a part not knowing what the future would hold for them. Years later, on a girls night out, Abby and her friends walked into a dive bar, The Hair of The Dog. Who also happened to be at that same bar? Julian. With a little persuasion from her friends, Abby said hi to Julian. The rest is history

A Wedding And An Outfit Change

Abby & Julian chose to celebrate their journey together as a couple with a wedding at The Curtis Atrium in Center City Philadelphia, PA. Featuring huge vaulted ceilings with skylights above, this was the perfect place for them to throw a banger party. After sharing an intimate first look, we roamed Center City Philadelphia just outside of The Curtis Atrium for portraits. Walking around Philly is always a vibe, and when it’s your wedding day it’s even better. Their cocktail hour featured a mariachi band whose energy set the tone for the night to follow. While everyone danced during reception, Abby and Julian snuck away to surprise everyone with a stunning outfit change. And we all danced the night away.

Their Unique Wedding Film

Initially, videography wasn’t important to Julian and Abby. They’ve seen other wedding videos and they knew they wanted something that wasn’t just a timeline of events from the day. They wanted something that felt as adventurous and unique as they are. They wanted a wedding video that felt like them. During our initial phone call, I could tell how passionate and invested they were to having a wedding day that represented who they were. During the editing process, I really took the time to weave together a tapestry of moments and sounds from the day to bring together something that represents them and their personalities.
