When it comes to planning your wedding day, it's important to remember that there are no hard and fast rules you need to follow. The beauty of your special day lies in being able to make it your own and showcase your unique personality as a couple. You don’t have to stick to tradition just because, do whatever feels authentic to you, after all, it’s a celebration of you.
That's where I come in. As your wedding videographer, I make it my top priority to bottle up the essence of what makes you and your partner unique, from the energy you bring to your big day to the little details that make it personal to you, and create something that is just and unique as you both are. So let's skip the corny poses altogether! I prefer to capture my couples in a more candid and natural way. Rather than forcing uncomfortable poses, I encourage my couples to simply enjoy each other's company and be present in the moment. This approach results in more fluid and natural poses that convey love and emotion through the video. I focus on finding the moments that truly showcase the couple's character and personality, rather than trying to force it.
Heck yeah! Let's get muddy! I love weddings that are surrounded by nature and focused on free-spirited adventurers rather than aesthetics. Although, it’s not to say that your wedding still won’t be absolutely stunning with authentic emotions, real memories and stunning views taking the spotlight. I fully believe that if your heart is light, your makeup smudged, your hair’s a mess and your dress is muddy by the end of the day, you know it was a damn good time.
I'm a people pleaser, so I understand the desire to make everyone happy and the guilt that comes with not including them. However, this is your day. You have spent years refining and forging your love to bring you to the moment when you both say "I do." You deserve to experience it exactly the way you want to, whether it's on the edge of a cliff in a beautiful location or at city hall. You're an adventurer and a seeker. You're different, and you've always been true to yourself. Your loved ones deep down really want you to be happy and trust me, looking back years from now, you absolutely will not regret it.

Don’t even think twice about hiring Kyle. This man is the real deal. His talent, creativity, and the love he has for his clients all come through in this work. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s such a lovely person (and such a sweet presence to have on such a special day). I only hope that our paths cross again soon, and I get another opportunity to work with him in the future. His video is so much more than we ever expected. It’s just a perfect depiction of the day. From all of the raw emotions to the perfect stitching together of the most beautiful pieces of our vows. The footage is beautiful and the story he told was fantastic. One of our friends described it as “the best music video” he’s ever seen. And what an awesome keepsake for us to be able to share with our friends/family that couldn’t make it to our wedding. Small forest films aka Kyle was amazing to work with! Very professional, creative, detailed and kind. He executed our wedding video vision beautifully. Kyle created a video as unique as our day was. We had an elopement video where we hiked down a hill to a waterfall and Kyle was down for it he got all the angles even had a drone. Kyle also used a film camera to make it super nostalgic and a keepsake film that’ll last our lifetime and we plan on showing everyone we know. We even had a tight deadline for him to edit it by and he didn’t disappoint!

"Fly on the wall"? Heck no. You often hear videographers talk about tucking away in the corner, capturing moments from afar. But what they end up getting is a boring and typical film, and a couple who didn't really gain anything from it. Yeah, no thanks.
I'm with you two, hyping you up and making sure you both know how hot you look. You'll see me scurrying around, capturing those moments that happen when others stop recording. I like to make friends, be goofy, and show everyone that I'm there to have a good time too. I'll even break it down with you on the dance floor and be a real hype man. Edit time will generally take 4-5 months. Though I always aim to give you your wedding film asap! This is just dependent on busy season times.
My most popular question! I do have to choose songs that I can get the copyright license for. I know all the best music licensing sites and I take this part of the process very seriously. I always aim to find songs that fit you and your day. But please, send me your Spotify playlists!

After our initial call, I’ll send you over the paperwork for you to sign on the dotted line. I do a 20% retainer to lock in your day, with 50% of the remainder due 2 months prior to the wedding and the remaining 50% due 1 month before the big day. Then we party.
