Felicia x Sam: You’ve Always Been The One I’d See At The End of The Aisle
Take a look at a wedding in Elizabethtown PA. I joined Felicia & Sam to film their awesome wedding at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown PA.
Sometimes, the universe guides you to your other half late in life, sometimes the universe just throws them at you early. Felicia and Sam found each other at an early age. They grew up together. Watched each other grow. And supported each other every step through life. As they grew and changed, so did their love for one another. They chose to enjoy life together, go on adventures, and be the best versions of themselves. Sam would go on to train and run his first (and not last) Ultra-Marathon, and Felica would put her love for art to the forefront and open her open business creating beautiful macramé at Totally Knots Designs (seriously check it out her work is so good). They would spend their years traveling and going to music festivals and after 11 years of dating, they decided it’s finally time to tie the knot.
Sam is someone who isn’t afraid of showing his emotions. Well, he can’t really control it according to him. When sentimental, loving moments happen, he becomes engulfed in the feelings. This showed when reading a letter written to him by Felicia in the morning of their wedding day. Needing to take breaks to recollect himself, the letter just reassured why he was here and why he was marrying Felicia. Seeing her walk down the aisle brought it all back. Memories of their lives together, and visions of their life from then on. There wasn’t a dry eye at their wedding in Elizabethtown, PA.
Through their years of traveling and attending music festivals (Firefly in Dover Delaware being one of their favorites), they know how to party. Felicia and Sam through an absolute banger, making sure the dancefloor was always filled. Upon closing the night out, they had one last dance to share together to remember the day. Rather than sparklers, the chose to do an exit with their guests holding glow sticks and led lights and balloons. A true festival style exit.
Felicia and Sam have aren’t ones to just sit around. They travel, they party at music festivals, they have a ton of great energy. Their wedding day was no different. They wanted that energy to translate through to their wedding film, and I was more than happy to oblige. Finding and capturing that energy on the day, and the moments that truly show who the couple is and what they’re like is my favorite part of what I do. Bottling up their essence and giving it to them in a way they can cherish for years to come. Their wedding film is fast and energetic, but also enjoys the slow and emotional moments. The moments where they realize this is the start of the rest of their lives together.
