Crist & Kristin’s wedding at Handsome Hollow in Long Eddy NY was held with the focus on bring their favorite people together and show them their world of music and fun.

When I first spoke with Cris & Kristin, they told me how important their friends and family meant to them. They wanted their day to not only be about themselves, but about the people they love. Those that helped them along their journey to bring them to this very day. This is why they wanted to hold a Music Festival wedding. A gathering of everyone important, to celebrate, party, and headbang to great music.

Wedding at Handsome Hollow Long Eddy, NY

When searching for a the perfect location for Wedstock ’24 (their music festival wedding), Cris & Kristin wanted to combine their love for music with their love for nature. Handsome Hollow was the perfect selection for what they were looking for. Handsome Hollow places you directly in the heart of the scenic Catskills Mountains, surrounding you with it’s awe inspiring beauty. Mountains and streams and meadows, and ponds are all around during a wedding day at this hidden gem. It immediately struck home for Cris & Kristin and ignited their imagination for the music festival wedding they wanted to hold.

The Wedding Day

Cris & Kristin both got ready for the day in the cozy and modern-rustic farm house located on Handsome Hollow’s property. Kristin dawned her stunning dress that truly felt made for her. While Cris rocked a white coat with white shorts and a pair of white Doc Martin’s, very on brand and exactly what Cris would wear!

Cris & Kristin had an emotional 1st look in front of the white farmhouse. Emotions were flowing and tears were shed. “Am I all messed up?” ” No, you’re not ‘All Messed Up’ by Tegan & Sara.”

Cris & Kristin didn’t have a bridal party per say, but they did have a collection of close friends and family they wanted to be with.

The Wedding Ceremony

Tucked away in the woods lies a beautiful little ceremony spot surrounded by trees, all after taking a short hike which you cross a bridge over a stream. Cris & Kristin shared some of the most personal and touching vows I’ve ever heard, diving into their story and their love for each other. They concluded their ceremony with a kiss, then danced down the aisle.

The Mosh Pit

Cris & Kristin concluded their day by throwing an absolute banger of a party in the rustic-chic barn at Handsome Hollow. They moshed, head banged, and danced the night away. If you’re looking to throw a festival themed wedding in the Catskills, you won’t be disappointed
