Record Shop Hauls and Disco Balls

Nika and Nicky’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing. They wanted their wedding day to truley encapsolate who they are. As Philly locals who love to hike the Wissahickon, a Valley Green Inn wedding was the ultimate choice for keeping their wedding in a place that feels like home. They began their day getting ready at the Chestnut Hill Hotel. Nicky, with some spare time, went over to the local record shop to browse and add to his collection. Nika and Nicky first met at their college’s radio station, so hitting up a record store on his wedding only felt right.

They both arrived at the Valley Green Inn for an intimate first look before being greeted by friends and family. The space was designed for a disco. Bright pops of color and a checkered dance floor transported the Valley Green Inn back to the ’70s. This disco ball hanging about was just the icing on the cake.

Nika and Nicky wanted a day focused on friends, family, and good music.
